How to connect a watch to the Pebble app
From the Devices tab of the iPhone app or Android app, tap the orange + sign on the bottom right corner and Add Watch. Your watch should appear and you'll press Connect to connect to it.

A full iPhone and Android phone walkthrough is available if you need step by step directions.
My watch isn't appearing or connecting after pressing +
On your phone, go to the iOS or Android system Bluetooth menu, and forget all Pebble watches. Be sure to Forget your watch in the Pebble app as well. Restart your phone.

My watch still won't connect / needs to be reset
Use this as a last resort if nothing else fixes the problem. Hold left button + top right + center right buttons (all together) for 30 seconds or until your watch displays a progress bar.

Still having problems? Submit a bug report
If you've tried the right kind of reset for your situation and the issue is still there, the next step is to send us a bug report so we can look into it. A bug report is more useful to us than a support email because it includes the technical context we need (recent crash logs, watch state, app version) automatically.
In the Pebble mobile app, go to Settings → Get Help → New Bug Report. Fill in what's going on and submit. The app attaches the relevant device and watch context automatically. Here are some things to include:
How can I customize my backlight settings?
The four options for backlight settings are:
Max Brightness: 100% intensity, no dynamic mode, 5 second timeout
Standard: 50% intensity, standard dynamic mode, 3 second timeout
Battery Saver: 25% intensity, dim dynamic mode, 3 second timeout
Advanced
Advanced allows you to customize your brightness settings completely. You can adjust your intensity, dynamic backlight settings, tap settings, and timeout.

How can I adjust my Pebble Time 2 backlight color balance?
Go to Settings → Watch → Display where you can change your backlight color by pressing Select and dialing in the exact backlight color you'd like.

I'm not getting any vibration for notifications
You've most likely turned on Quiet Time, maybe by accident; holding the Back button for about two seconds from any watch face toggles it by default (this is called a Quick Launch shortcut). The easiest way to tell if you have Quiet Time turned on is the top left corner of all notifications will have a silenced speaker icon.

While Quiet Time is on, the watch also stops lighting the backlight when you flick your wrist. You can override this on the phone app and on the watch under Settings → Quiet Time
My notifications are not dismissing automatically
There are two reasons this could happen.
You have Quiet Time turned on and Notifications set to "On - Persistent"

2. Your Notification timeout is set to "None"

My watch vibrated but there's no notification
Many popular faces vibrate and invert the screen when they lose the phone connection, as a deliberate "you've left your phone behind" alert. If mystery buzzes started right after you installed a new face, that's almost certainly why. Some watchfaces vibrate on the hour, too.
How can I make the font bigger on my watch?
Notification font size is adjustable: small, medium or large; under Settings → System → Notifications → Text Size. System-wide font sizes are not adjustable, only notifications.
Can I connect my Pebble to two phones?
This isn't possible. Your watch will prompt you to forget one phone before pairing another.
Android shows a permanent "Keeping Pebble connection alive" notification
That's the foreground service Android requires to hold a persistent Bluetooth connection. Just set it to silent notification and ignore it.
How to I change the order of my watchfaces?
From My Watchfaces, hold your finger down on a watchface until it jiggles, then drag it to a different place in your apps list and let go.

How to I change the order of my apps?
Same process as watchfaces. From My Apps, tap and hold to drag.

How do I activate the backlight?
Wrist motion (flicking your wrist toward your face). The motion is a hard flick of your wrist. A simple turn of the wrist will not activate the backlight.

Tapping the screen (double tap or single tap). Only on watches with a touchscreen (Pebble Time 2 and Pebble Round 2). Double tap is default.

Notification arrival. The backlight can be set to flash on briefly whenever a notification comes in.

Manually, by pressing buttons on your watch or via Quick Launch shortcuts you set to a button or wrist gesture.
